Electric Meat was formed in 2003 and is quickly emerging as the most exciting new jamband in the Toronto area. Featuring Jon Eckert (guitar/vocals), Anton Helman (keyboards/vocals), Jamie Grossman (drums), Alistair Miller (guitar/vocals), and Eric Stein (bass/vocals), the group members diverse musical backgrounds converge in a unique synthesis of styles in Electric Meat. The group has an extensive repertoire of original material as well as a unique slate of rarely-heard covers. Styles that seep through in the groups unique repertoire include country, blues, funk, reggae, progressive rock, electronica, and of course, classic rock.
